Declaring your withholding tax via Earny with 1 click
In Switzerland, you can declare your withholding tax to the kanton through Earny via a mechanism known as SwissDec. This removes the need to go to the Kanton's withholding tax website and file the declaration manually.
- In order to access this feature in Earny, go to Reports,
- Toggle Mark as Paid to close the period. Keep in mind when you mark as paid you cannot edit the period. Any changes needed will need to be factored in next month.
- Click on the three dots and click Declare withholding tax via SwissDec.
- Review the what you will be sending and hit Declare
- Track the declaration in the Declaration section to ensure it was accepted.
